Safety
Safe dating guide
A first date is exciting; your safety comes before everything. Review this checklist before you meet.
Meet in a public place
Always have first dates in a busy cafe, restaurant or shopping mall. Do not accept a home, hotel room or isolated location.
Tell someone close to you
Before the date, let someone close know where you are going and with whom: via the "Trusted contact" feature in settings or by calling them yourself.
Do not carry your documents
Do not take your passport, ID or bank cards to the date; never hand them over or share photos of them.
Do not trust anyone who talks about money
Immediately cut contact with anyone asking for money, loans, investments or card details, and report them on the platform.
Arrange your own transportation
Go to the date in your own car or by taxi; do not accept a ride home on a first date.
Keep your drink in sight
Never leave your drink unattended; do not accept opened drinks.
Keep your phone charged and on
Keep location sharing on with someone you trust and make sure your phone is charged.
Keep communication on the platform
Be careful if the other person quickly tries to move you to WhatsApp/Telegram; keep messaging inside SlavicPartner.
Trust your instincts
If you feel uncomfortable, you owe no explanation; end the date and leave.
Report suspicious behavior
Report members who hide a marriage, use a fake profile or pressure you, right from their profile page.
Add your trusted contact
Save a person you trust on the settings page; when you plan a date, they can be informed in one click.
