Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time, no explanation needed. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Inside the app or the website
- Sign in and open the Settings page.
- In the Account section, press "Delete my account" and confirm with your password.
- Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out. Your photos, audio and video are deleted right away, and the rest of your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
If you have a subscription from the mobile app, cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play settings; deleting your account does not stop a store subscription.
If you cannot sign in
Enter the email address registered on your account. If the account exists, we send a confirmation link to that address; your account is deleted once you open the link and confirm. The link is valid for 24 hours.
What remains after deletion
Photos, audio and video are deleted at the moment of deletion. The rest of your account data (profile, messages, matches, verification records) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Payment records are kept without your identity for the legal accounting period. If there is an unresolved complaint about you, the complaint record is kept with an irreversible digest of your email address for 12 months for safety. Details are in the privacy policy.
