The explicit demands about life after the wedding: where you will live, what you could never accept in a spouse and whether your spouse will work. It is a short section, but not a light one in the scoring.

Not every question weighs the same. A question's points are multiplied by the weight of its section. The weights are:
The logic is simple: a disagreement about children or about money will not carry a marriage, while a difference in weekend preferences is something two people grow into. That is why a single question from values or family weighs as much as three questions about hobbies.
Weight raises not only the points you earn but also the ceiling for that question. Agreeing inside a heavy section lifts the percentage clearly, and disagreeing lowers it just as clearly.
The comparison never runs in one direction. On every shared question three measurements are made: your answer against theirs, your partner expectation against their answer, and their expectation against your answer.
Matching your own answers is worth the most: up to 2 points per question. Each direction of expectation adds another point. In 25 of the 40 questions you can also mark what you expect from a partner; in the remaining 15 only your own answer is measured.
In scale questions a neighbouring option earns half the points. On the smoking question the distance between sometimes and never is not treated as the distance between never and regularly. In categorical questions, where the order of options carries no meaning, only an identical answer scores.
If an expectation you marked explicitly does not fit the other side's answer at all, that direction scores nothing and an extra penalty is subtracted from the total. The penalty equals half the section weight, so a broken expectation inside values or family pulls the score down the hardest. Your own answer points are kept: a couple who think alike do not lose the whole question over one mismatched expectation.
If two members have answered fewer than 10 questions in common, no percentage is shown at all. A noisy number built from a handful of answers is not presented as a reliable score.
The result lands between 25 and 100. Even zero overlap shows 25, and a perfect match gives 100. The conversion is linear: the percentage mirrors exactly the share of the ceiling you earned, with no extra curve applied.
Scores of 78 and above are grouped in the top block of your discover page, while lower ones appear under a separate heading but are never hidden. The threshold only orders the list; it removes nobody.
On a profile page the total percentage is shown next to a section by section breakdown. If a high total hides a low family section, that is where the conversation should start. The percentage is not a decision, it is a list of things to talk about.
The test has 40 questions. In each one you pick a single option, and in the 25 questions that carry expectations you make a second choice as well. You do not have to finish in one sitting: every answer is saved the moment you pick it, so closing the page still leaves you where you stopped.
Answers are never locked. If you later answer the same question differently, the old record is updated and your compatibility percentages are recalculated from the new answer. When your mind changes you do not have to retake the test, only that one question needs updating.
Some questions are skipped entirely depending on your answers. A member who does not want children and has none is never shown the question about religious upbringing. That is why you may see fewer than 40 questions.

The lowest is 25 and the highest is 100. Even a pair with nothing in common shows 25, because that is the floor of the scale, not a hidden sign of compatibility.
Yes. You can give any question a new answer at any time: the old answer is updated and your compatibility percentages are recalculated. You never need to retake the test.
In some questions you also mark what you expect from a spouse alongside your own answer: this choice is open in 25 of the 40 questions. The expectation works both ways: yours is checked against their answer and theirs against yours.
A percentage can only be computed when two members have answered at least 10 of the same questions. If the other side has not progressed far enough through the test, no score is shown.
No. The percentage shows how much two sets of answers overlap; it does not measure character, chemistry or intent. The score tells you where to start the conversation, it does not decide for you.
